I've just used the techniques we were taught in lessons, plus a bit of playing around with lighting which is pretty fun; you can just grab different kinds of lights from the create menu to experiment with.
Also, I made the setting by duplicating the floor we made and putting them up as four walls to make a box around the truck. Then I set the material to white ceramic. That's it really.
